Do you care about people? Do you want to improve the lives of people living with the effects of a brain injury? Then join our talented team!

About Us:

We care for people who have suffered a brain injury as a result of a stroke, a brain tumour, a motor vehicle accident or other head trauma.  People with brain injuries can face many challenges that others take for granted every day, from memory loss to aphasia, from mental health issues to cognitive and physical disabilities.

We believe in respect for each other and the people we serve. We believe that every person with a brain injury deserves to realize their full and unique potential. If you want to make a difference, join our caring team. We work together to provide person-centred care and rehabilitation for people with brain injuries to help them adapt, learn and live as independently as possible.

We are a flexible employer, with competitive compensation and benefits and we provide ongoing training and education. We have a number of different roles in locations in St. Catharines, Hamilton and Vineland, so there are opportunities to learn and grow with us.

About You:

If you want to make a difference in the lives of people with brain injuries, if you are a team player and you are motivated to do a great job, this might be the job you are looking for.

To be successful as a rehabilitation facilitator, you will need:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • To be enrolled in, or have completed, education at the college or university level.

To be successful as a relief/casual facilitator you will need:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • To have completed PSW designation or one year diploma at the college level.

Both positions require a current criminal reference check with vulnerable screening.

You will also need to be a compassionate person who is willing to ride through the ups and downs of people’s lives and be committed to sharing your energy, patience and skills with a caring community.  If you have experience working in healthcare or human services already, then that is even better. The ability to speak French with the people we serve would be an added bonus.
